FOREST BIOMASS AND CARBON ESTIMATION USING VEGETATION INDICES AND LEAF AREA INDEX

Among the consequences of current dynamics manmade land use and cover, forest fragmentation results in a large number isolated fragments different sizes. Forest provides many environmental services such as carbon sequestration storage form biomass, demonstrating crucial role native forests need to develop new methods that estimate biomass by non-destructive methods.
